This call for expressions of interest and nominations is open to all ISN members in good standing and 41 years old or younger.
About the YNC:
In early 2007, the ISN created the YNC to help better engage its talented younger members in shaping the future of the ISN. The mission of the YNC is to evaluate and understand the needs of young physicians, scientists, and other kidney health professionals in order to develop education, research, professional development and leadership opportunities within the ISN tailored specifically to their needs. The YNC consists of a core group of 25 members, representing the various geographic regions of the ISN.
About the position:
The Deputy Chair role is a volunteer position for a period of 2 years, starting at WCN’23 and ending at WCN’25. The Deputy Chair will assist the Chair (or deputize when she/he is not in attendance) and prepare to assume the Chair role in WCN’25 for approximately two years (until WCN’27). There is no honorarium attached to this role. ISN staff will provide operational support to the YNC.
