WCN’24 hosts the sixth edition of the PDOGKPF. The first five were held at the World Congresses of Nephrology in Mexico City (2017), Melbourne (2019), virtually in 2021 and 2022, and in Bangkok (2023), with the participation of stakeholders from the Latin American, South-East Asian, Oceanian and North American ISN regions.
During the first PDOGKPF, stakeholders developed a set of 12 Recommendations for Global Kidney Health to guide future efforts to reduce the burden of kidney disease worldwide. Successive PDOGKPF committed to the continued adherence to, and advancement of, the Recommendations, updated in 2023.
The exclusive format of the event provides an opportunity to consider the international viewpoint on key kidney health challenges and opportunities affecting the Latin American region.
