Michal Rosen-Zvi
Generative AI Revolution in Medicine
Michal Rosen-Zvi holds a Ph.D. in computational physics from Bar-Ilan University and completed her postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, and the Hebrew University.
She is the director of technologies for accelerated drug discovery at IBM Research and a computational medicine adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
Professor Rosen-Zvi joined IBM Research in 2005 and has since led various machine learning and healthcare projects there. In her global role at IBM Research, she co-leads the research strategy of a worldwide team of experts in quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies applied to therapeutic molecules and related data.
Professor Rosen-Zvi has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers and has served on program committees at AAAI, ICML and UAI*conferences. She is a reviewer for journals such as iScience, where she is also a scientific advisor, Machine Learning, and Nature, and she is an editor at PLOS One. She is on the managing committee of the Israeli Society for HealthTech and is responsible for the organization’s education in computational medicine studies.
