ISN Mentorship Abstract Awards recognize the three top-scored WCN’24 abstracts submitted by recent ISN mentees after collaboration with their mentors in the ISN Mentorship Program.
Dr. Nelson Zamora Rodríguez is a nephrologist and the Academic Coordinator of the Department of Health Sciences at the Universidad Católica San Pablo, Tarija campus, Bolivia, where he is also involved in establishing a research center. He is also enrolled in the Glom Com fellowship, Class of 2023-2024. He trained at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés and the Hospital Universitario de Clínicas, both located in La Paz, Bolivia.
Dr. Zamora Rodríguez is involved in the ISN Mentorship Program with Dr. Melvin Bonilla-Felix as his mentor. He has been an ISN member since 2019 and has been presenting abstracts at the World Congresses of Nephrology since 2020. He is actively involved in SLANH (Latin American Society of Nephrology and Hypertension). Passionate about research, he dedicates his free time spending quality moments with his family.
