Young Nephrologists Award: Best Clinical Science Abstract
Dr. Priyanka Khandelwal is a graduate and postgraduate from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, a premier medical institution in the country. She was awarded MD in Pediatrics in December 2012, following which she joined the Division of Pediatric Nephrology in 2013. She has been awarded DM in Pediatric Nephrology in December 2018, being the first DM in this specialty in the Institute. She has been awarded the International Pediatric Nephrology Association clinical fellowship at the Department of Nephrology, Great Ormond Street Hospital for children, and has currently been selected for a clinical fellowship in Complement Mediated Diseases, Division of Nephrology, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Khandelwal’s clinical interests and research focus include atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, C3 glomerulopathy, and chronic kidney disease in children.
