By Metro: 
The easiest and most convenient (cost-effective and low-carbon) way to reach the QSNCC is via MRT subway – Blue Line. Disembark at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center station, take exit 3 and walk along the pathway connecting the MRT to QSNCC lower ground level. The congress is located just two levels above the MRT connecting pathway. Please take the escalators until level 1.

By Bus: 
The public bus routes 136, 185 and 501 stop right in front of QSNCC. For an easy access to the WCN’23 congress area, please access the venue from the entrance in Ratchadapisek Road (between Gate 1 and Gate 2), and take the escalators to level 1.

 

By Car:
The venue address is 60 Ratchadapisek Road.

By taxi: Ask your driver for drop off at the entrance between Gate 1 and 2 (Drop off point #1 in the map below).

By private car: There are two parking lots available at the QSNCC. Please use parking 1, and access the venue from the drop off point #1 in the map below. Venue parking is free for the first 3 hours, and THB 30 per hour thereafter.

The registration area is located in the Ballroom Foyer on level 1. Staff will be available to assist you during the following opening hours:

  • Thursday, March 30   7:00 – 20:00
  • Friday, March 31   7:30 – 18:00
  • Saturday, April 1   7:30 – 18:0
  • Sunday, April 2   7:30 – 14:00

Please bring your “Scan & Go Registration Voucher” which you have received by email for an easy and fast printing of your badge at the “Scan & Go” kiosks.

Grab a beverage, pull up a chair and join these moderated, yet intimate Table Talks to engage in group conversations on urgent and emergent topics. The tables are yours; you may even host your own spontaneous conversations here if the schedule allows. The Table Talk schedule is available here

ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2023 (WCN’23) Abstracts

The ISN World Congress of Nephrology, Bangkok, Thailand, 30/03/2023-02/04/2023 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 19 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Please find below the breakdown of ECMEC®s per day:

  • March 30, 2023 – 6.00
  • March 31, 2023 – 5.00
  • April 01, 2023 – 4.00
  • April 02, 2023 – 4.00

IMPORTANT: You will be able to obtain CME credits ONLY for the days in which you have scanned your badge at the “Badge Scanning Zones”.
Please make sure to scan your badge!

A CME certificate of attendance will be available for printing via WCN’23 platform after the congress. No printed certificates will be available onsite. More information including instructions on how to download the certificate will be provided by email to all participants after the congress.

To download your CME Certificate of Attendance:

  1. Login to your WCN’23 Virtual Platform https://wcn23.theisn.org/virtual
    Username: the email address used to register to WCN’23
    Password: should you do not remember your password, please use the “Forgot your password” link available on the platform login page.
  2. Click on the “My CME Certificate” button
  3. Complete the feedback survey to access your certificate. This is mandatory and required by EACCME®.
  4. Download your certificate

Join the “Kidney Health for All – FUN RUN” April 1 from 5:30-8:30 am organized by the Nephrology Society of Thailand in collaboration with World Kidney Day. To register, please scan the QR code below.

Minors (persons under 18 years of age) are allowed to access the congress venue and areas in use by WCN’23. Minors must be registered at the congress registration desk (no fee applies, please contact registrationswcn@theisn.org to receive the applicable registration form).  Registered children will be required to wear a badge or wristband which will include the contact details of their caretaker all times whilst on site.

The following facilities are available:

  • A Mom&Kids Room is available at the QSNCC, LG level. Facilities include 3 private rooms.
  • A Playroom for parents, caretakers and minors is available at the QSNCC, Level 1, next to Meeting Room 113. Hospitality Staff will be in the room to supervise the room and its access but is in no way responsible for the supervision of minors. Minors must at all times be accompanied by their parent or caretaker.
  • In each session room, seats nearest to the exit will be reserved to delegates who may need to abruptly leave a session, such as doctors on call or parents with children.

Adults are fully responsible to ensure appropriate and correct behaviour of the children they accompany. Interference with congress activities will not be accepted. The organizers take no responsibility for any damage to the venue or other facilities, or disruption caused by minors. Content deemed unsuitable for children may be displayed during WCN’23 congress sessions.

Minors will not be admitted to the Opening Ceremony and Plenary Lecture, the Exhibition Hall, the Interventional Nephrology Course and Industry Symposia.

To deliver high-quality experience, WCN organizers will provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can share information and ideas in a professional, positive, and friendly way. WCN organizers will not accept any intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions. This includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, and stalking. All attendees, including speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners, and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct on the WCN’23 congress platforms and conference-related social media:

  • Be considerate, respectful, collaborative, and inclusive,
  • Participate in an authentic and active manner (please remember to update your profile),
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, prejudicial, or harassing behavior and speech,
  • Do not use inappropriate language and images,
  • Do not engage in harm or threats of any kind,
  • Do not inappropriately disrupt presentations, talks and the virtual congress in general,
  • Do not make audio or visual recordings of slides, Q&A, oral or poster presentations, forums/chats without presenter/author’s permission.

Attendees can report inappropriate behavior to the congress organizers at registrationswcn@theisn.org In case of inappropriate behavior, WCN organizers reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary including removal from the virtual congress without warning or refund, and they reserve the right to refuse attendance at future ISN meeting, virtually or in person.

We encourage participants to log in prior to WCN’23 to ensure easy access during the congress (March 30-April 2). If you have any problems with your login please contact our registration team at registrationswcn@theisn.org. To facilitate the communication, especially during the congress days, please indicate virtual registration + your registration number in the subject line.

  • Device: The virtual platform is accessible with any device that can connect to the internet through a browser and the experience is fully responsive to all devices.
  • For optimal experience, we recommend using Laptop, Computer or any large screen devices (Android or iOS). If you are using a mobile device, please view the screen in landscape mode.
  • When using an Android device, Apple iPad or iPhone you will need to click on the media play button to begin the presentation. Android and Apple iOS devices do not permit automatic launch of streaming.
  • Operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Android 4.4, Apple Mac OS X 10.9+, Apple iOS 12+ Internet browser: Chrome or Firefox are recommended for the best experience.
  • Minimum internet connection: 5 Mbps for seamless video playback
  • Minimum screen resolution for optimal experience: 1024 x 768
  • Allow JavaScript and Cookies
  • Disable pop-up blockers, ad blockers or VPN for the Virtual conference platform URL
  • Firewalls: Use without a VPN is possible, if in line with the legal conditions of your country, but content is accessible without a VPN by default. We encourage you to disconnect from this when watching or interacting with the platform during the event days. The organiser is not responsible for the default restrictions of your institute or company internet provider, network or state.
  • Clear your cookies and cache: If you experience any issues accessing the platform we suggest you clear your browser cookies and cache.
  • If you plan to participate in the meeting from your office, have your institution’s IT personnel safelist the following address and email servers: https://wcn23.theisn.org/virtual ; registrationswcn@theisn.org

 Internet connection requirements. Some users may experience load times that are longer than normal with larger content items. We recommend:

  • A strong Wi-Fi connection or hardwired internet connection of at least 5 Mbps
  • Disconnect from VPN or corporate networks (if possible)
  • Disable ad blocker or pop-up blocker
  • Close any unnecessary applications
  • Refrain from browsing the internet, streaming media and/or downloading large files during this time

FAQ page on the platform
Once in the platform, please check our FAQ page for further tips and information.

There are a few things you may check:

  • You may click the unmute button on the top of the screen
  • You may check the volume on the stream player at the bottom right corner of the screen
  • If you have internal speakers, make sure they are not muted
  • If you have external speakers, make sure they are powered on and are not muted
  • Make sure you have not lost internet connection

All sessions will be recorded and will be available on-demand shortly after their broadcast. Fully registered attendees will have access, via the congress platform, to these recordings up to 12 weeks after the congress.

To access live sessions:
a. Click on the “Scientific Program” image on the lobby to be redirected to the current live sessions. Select the session you want to attend, and click the red button to join the session.

 

 

 

 

 

b. Click on “Scientific Program” menu on the top navigation bar, search the session you want to attend, and click on the red button to join the session.

 

 

To access on-demand sessions:
On-demand session are available shortly after the live broadcast. To access the desired session, please choose the “Scientific Program” menu on top navigation bar. Search the session you want to access and select it, you will then be redirected to the on-demand session.

The E-Posters are accessible by clicking both on the “E-POSTER” image on the Lobby or from the top bar menu.
Use the drop down menu to search the abstracts by topic, and send a comment or a question to the abstract authors via chat function. For more information about the chat function, please check the FAQ page in the platform.
