ISN-KI Editorial Fellow
The ISN-KI Editorial Fellowship, designed for early career kidney care professionals, provides training opportunities for reviewing and critically evaluating manuscripts and managing editorial responsibilities within the context of a world-renowned nephrology journal. The Editorial Fellows will train alongside the Kidney International (KI) editorial team from October 2023-2025.
Dr. Isabelle Ayoub is board certified Nephrologist who completed her subspecialty training in Nephrology in June 2013 and Glomerular Disease Fellowship in June 2015. She has since continued her career in academic medicine. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at the Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio, USA. She is very active clinically and works in a busy lupus, vasculitis, and glomerulonephritis clinic. She is the director of the Nephrology Clinical Trials Unit at OSU. Dr Ayoub’s primary focus is in the area of glomerular diseases with research interest in evaluating experimental therapeutics in glomerular diseases and identifying biomarkers of kidney pathology.
The ISN-KI Editorial Fellows will be acknowledged in the Editors’ Pick of ISN Journals: KI and KIR session taking place Saturday, April 1, 2023, 08:30-10:00 Bangkok time, in MR 110 ABC.
