ISN-ACT Named Fellow

Dr. Carinna Hockham is an epidemiologist that works as the UK Program Manager in the Women’s Health Program at The George Institute for Global Health, Imperial College London, London, United Kingdom. She has been awarded the title of ISN-ACT Named Fellow for her continued work on the qualitative study “Barriers and facilitators to nephrologist participation in clinical trials research: a semi-structured interview study.” Publication of the study is expected in the course of 2023.

Dr. Hockham states, “By identifying concrete actions that ISN-ACT can take to reduce global disparities in nephrology research  – directly from those who want them – I hope that this initiative will propel the nephrology community towards a more global, more collaborative, and more equitable research landscape.”
