SRC Belarus – Germany
Emerging Center: Belarus Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Minsk, Belarus
Supporting Center: Charité-Universitätsmedizin, Berlin, Germany
What difference did you make through your Sister Center partnership?
Since 2013 active participants of SRC between Belarus and Germany have achieved high professional positions in Emerging Center: Kirill Komissarov has become the head of nephrology, renal replacement therapy and kidney transplantation department, Alexey Narbin – the head of nephrology unit, Pavel Vershinin – the head of kidney transplant unit, Pavel Prilutski – the head of intensive care unit. Dr. Torsten Slowinski, Senior Physician at the Clinic for Nephrology at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, contributed greatly into our progress and achievements. His sudden death is a great loss for the whole medical community. The future plan is to keep on our collaboration in frame of TRIO program. We are going to attract the third center from Georgia. In the period of COVID-19 pandemia we will continue our partnership in format of clinicopathological and educational multidisciplinary meetings via video conference.
