What difference did you make through the Educational Ambassadors training?
In September 2016, I spend one week, as ISN education ambassador, in Renal Division, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University in Hunan Province, PR. China. The difference I made through the trainings: Firstly, the nephrologists and young fellows of the division improved their diagnose and treatment capacity of complement-related disease, ANCA vasculitis, anti-GBM disease and thrombotic microangiopathy, et al.; Secondly, the training promoted the ability of clinical research, including establishment of a provincial ANCA vasculitis consortium and collaborative studies based on Chinese Kidney Disease Network (CK-NET); Thirdly, the EA program became attractive in mainland China, especially in resource-limited regions.I hope the ISN EA Program will attract more senior and experienced nephrologists acting as ambassadors. The EA Program should benefit more nephrologists and young fellows who will devote nephrology in the world and thus contribute to human health.
