Young Nephrologists Award – Best Clinical Science Abstract
Dr. Jiao Yuanyuan is a Physician in the Department of Nephrology, China-Japan Friendship Hospital since 2019 (Beijing, China) and is going to get a MD Scholar from Peking Union Medical College (China, 2022). She graduated from Clinical Medicine in Qiqihaer Medical University with excellent results in 2014. She obtained a Master’s degree in China Medical University in 2017. She accepted the standardized training for residents in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from 2014 to 2017 and works as a nephrology physician in Jinshan Hospital of Fudan University (Shanghai, China, 2018) and in Yuhang Branch, Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China, 2019). Her MD is focusing on the pathogenesis of complement activation in diabetic nephropathy and the role of complement-related SNP in the inheritance of diabetic nephropathy. Her doctoral research has been finished in China-Japan Clinical Research Institute and the Department of Nephrology in China-Japan Friendship Hospital, China. She is interested in exploring the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy through multi-omics methods, as well as the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
