The ISN has selected 12 ISN Interventional Nephrology Training Centers to provide in-depth specialized training to improve patient care in different regions of the world.
ISN Interventional Nephrology Training Centers will host trainees for two types of curriculum:
- Foundation course (2-4 weeks): specific interventional procedures; observational and hands-on training with patients.
- Advanced course (3 months): a broad spectrum of procedures, especially endovascular procedures; hands-on training with patients.
The ISN will support trainees from low and middle-income countries with grants contributing to their travel, accommodation, and living costs during the training. Applicants should contact the ISN Interventional Nephrology Training Center of their choice, based on the procedures they would like to get trained on.
Before joining a training center, trainees must follow didactic sessions on the ISN Academy.
Applications for ISN Interventional Nephrology Scholarships are now open for scholars to undertake training at host centers from August 2022 to February 2023.
The deadline to apply is April 1, 2022. Read the guidelines here.
