Country: Brazil/Global Project
Region: South America/Global Project
How does this initiative help advance kidney health worldwide?
Educational tools are not only a way to deliver knowledge but also part of a strategic plan to offer high-quality care to patients with kidney diseases. Merging the principles of evidence-based medicine (EBM) with modern digital educational tools are essential ingredients to help us innovate in healthcare globally.
How did this imitative enable you to advance kidney health in your home country?
By neglecting access to science, the cycle of poor education, poverty, and unequal distribution of wealth and healthcare gets engraved in societies. The ISN-ACT Narrative-Based Clinical Trials Toolkit Narratives were created to translate technical information to those without previous knowledge in clinical research fostering collaboration and critical thinking to break this cycle.
Innovations centered on ethics and collaboration are more likely to create the desired perfect environment needed to building capacity globally and filling the gaps in nephrology education. Hopefully, this initiative will contribute to a future of innovation where all people have equitable access to sustainable kidney health.
