During congress program hours you are able to speak live with the WCN’22 team through our chat box, available on the platform homepage. You can also contact WCN staff by email at infowcn@theisn.org and registrationswcn@theisn.org
If you are not receiving emails regarding WCN’22, please be sure to check your spam / junk mail folder. If these cannot be found in either folder you will need to ensure all emails from noreply@theisn.org, IP address: 91.183.188.144, are allowed in your inbox. This is something you may need to ask your IT to set this up.
The recorded presentations will be shown through the Vimeo platform. Regions or countries with restrictions to access Vimeo may watch the recordings though VPN (Virtual Private Network). Information on such VPN and how to download can be found here.
The livestream runs on Kuala Lumpur time (MYT).
Please note that rules and restrictions might change. It is the sole responsibility of the participants to verify the conditions and restrictions applied to access the country.
    • The Malaysian government has set the opening for international travel to Malaysia for January 2022. Changes may be announced and borders for countries in the region may be open before. Participants should check their government’s website dedicated to travel information or restrictions, or the sites listed below.
    • Considering the world-wide situation, participants interested in attending the live event are strongly advised to make their own arrangements regarding health and travel insurance including loss of fees/deposit for travel and accommodation due to travel restrictions.
    • The organizers of the ISN World Congress of Nephrology do not take any responsibility for any participant failing to check latest updates or arrange their own insurance.

One registration fee will give access to all content and features – be it in-person, live streaming, on-demand, or a combination of these.
  • Access to the Virtual Congress Program, Networking and Special Events All registered participants will have access to the full virtual program. A personalized letter with information to access WCN’22 virtual platform will be sent to you no later than one week prior to the start date of the Congress. All recorded content will be available for registered participants for three months after the congress.
  • Access to the In-Person program The virtual congress is supplemented by in-person activities taking place in Kuala Lumpur. Currently, travel restrictions and limited entry in Malaysia for international participants applies. Registered participants who can travel to Kuala Lumpur and are interested in attending the in-person activities can indicate their interest on the online registration. For those, further communication and our request to confirm your in-person presence will be requested closer to the congress dates. IMPORTANT: Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to enter the congress venue. Furthermore, a Covid-19 saliva or RTK-Antigen test must be conducted prior to the event, physical distancing must be observed, and face masks must be always worn by all participants.

WCN organizers will provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can share information and ideas in a professional, positive, and friendly way. Individual opinions might not reflect ISN's position. All attendees, including speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct on the Virtual WCN’22 congress platforms and conference-related social media:
  • Be considerate, respectful, collaborative, and inclusive.
  • Participate in an authentic and active manner (please remember to update your profile).
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, prejudicial, or harassing behavior and speech.
  • Do not use inappropriate language and images.
  • Do not engage in harm or threats of any kind.
  • Do not inappropriately disrupt presentations, talks and the virtual congress in general.
  • Do not make audio or visual recordings of slides, Q&A, oral or poster presentations, forums/chats without presenter/author's permission.
Attendees can report inappropriate behaviour to the congress organizers by emailing registrationswcn@theisn.org .
Different networking opportunities are available on the Virtual WCN’22 platform:
  • Click on the "Networking" button on the quick navigation bar. Here you will be able to search and reach out to other participants via chat or video call. You are also able to create a group to discuss a desired topic. If you do not wish to take part in networking, you may opt out by editing your preference in “My Profile”.
  • Topical Networking Events. These activities are organized between sessions and you will find them scheduled in the program. The networking runs on a technology powered by SpatialChat, allowing to you to move in different rooms. Moving closer to other participants will allow you to engage in conversation, moving away will mute the conversation.
There is no need to download or install any software to access the WCN congress platform. All you need is a good internet connection and your computer/laptop. Tip: If you experience problems accessing the platform, refresh your browser cache by clicking CTRL+F5. In order to have access to WCN’22 virtual platform please make sure your internet browser is updated to its latest version. Recommended browsers: Google Chrome Microsoft Edge Mozilla Firefox Safari 5+ (Mac) Please note that certain functions of WCN’21 virtual platform will not run on Internet Explorer.
