  1. Awarded to the top three abstracts selected by the abstract committee 
  2. Eligibility: The abstract submitter must be registered for WCN’25 by November 6 
  3. Prizes for the winners: 
  • One year of complimentary ISN membership for 2025* 
  • Award certificate 
  • Recognition on the WCN’25 website, app, and ISN social media channels 

New! Most Viewed e-Poster Award 

  1. Awarded to the most viewed e-poster during the congress, February 6-9, 2025 
  2. Eligibility: The abstract submitter must be registered for WCN’25 by November 6 
  3. Prizes for the winner: 
  • One year of complimentary ISN membership for 2025* 
  • Award certificate 
  • Recognition on the WCN’25 website, app, and ISN social media channels 

ISN Programs Best Abstract Awards

  1. Awarded to the best three abstracts submitted by participants in the ISN Fellowship, Clinical Research and Mentorship programs (three awards per program)
  2. Eligibility: Abstract authors must have participated in the ISN Fellowship, Clinical Research or Mentorship program in the past five years, and their abstract must be related to their activities in that program
  3. Prizes for the winners:
  • Complimentary registration for WCN’25
  • Monetary prize for each program’s winners (more information to come)
  • Presentation of the abstract at the Program Awards session at WCN’25
  • Award certificate
  • Recognition on the WCN’25 website, app, and ISN social media channels

Young Nephrologists Best Abstract Awards 

  1. Two awards available for the Best Basic Science and Best Clinical Research abstracts, chosen by the ISN Young Nephrologists Committee 
  2. Eligibility: Abstract authors must be under 40 years old 
  3. Prizes for the winners: 
  • Complimentary registration for WCN’25 
  • Up to €3,500 for travel and accommodation to attend WCN’25 
  • Presentation of the abstract at the Young Nephrologists Committee session, part of the WCN’25 scientific program 

*If the winner already has a current ISN membership for 2025, alternative options will be offered.
