The ISN welcomes expressions of interest and nominations for the leadership position of
ISN Interventional Nephrology Working Group Deputy Chair
Open to all ISN members in good standing
Deadline to apply is 30 September 2022
The ISN welcomes expressions of interest and nominations for the position of ISN Interventional Nephrology Working Group Deputy Chair, succeeding Jadranka Buturovic Ponikvar, who will become Chair of the Working Group in replacement of Anil Agarwal, beginning at the time of ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2023 (WCN’23).
The Interventional Nephrology Working Group commits to understanding the concrete needs of interventional nephrology and other resources to support interventional nephrology, recognizing that they may be different in each region of the world, in order to agree on activities that are relevant and have optimal impact.
This is a volunteer leadership position for a period of 2 years, and the Deputy Chair is then expected to succeed the Chair at the end of their 2-year term. There is no honorarium attached to this role. ISN staff provide operational support to the Program, and the Chair and Deputy Chair are supported by a working group with regional representation which contributes to review and approval of submitted proposals.
The main work of the Interventional Nephrology Working Group is the online scoring of Interventional Nephrology Scholarship applications once a year (deadline is usually on April 1) and Interventional Nephrology Training Center applications periodically. The Working Group also undertakes the recording of online courses for the ISN Academy. The Interventional Nephrology Working Group ordinarily has a face-to-face meeting at the WCN and/or other events as applicable.
This call for expressions of interest and nominations is open to all ISN members in good standing.
