Successful GN course grant recipients will receive:

• Complementary GN course registration.
• A contribution towards travel and accommodation for attendees outside of Taipei.
• Course completion certificate.
• Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both course days.
• Free registration to the Asia Pacific Congress of Nephrology.

All other costs are the responsibility of the individual.

Any cancellation or change to your registration must be done in writing to GNcourse@theisn.org.

If you cancel your registration for any reason including failure to obtain a visa, you are responsible for any costs incurred (e.g. travel and visa). The responsibility for procuring health/accident and travel insurance remains with you

If you received a travel grant and cancel your registration, you will no longer be eligible to claim the travel grant contribution.

• If you accept a travel grant for this course and then are unable to attend, you will not receive any travel grant contribution.
• Please note these grants are for people with no other sources of support to travel to this course. We would be grateful if you could let us know before Monday, September 29, 2025 if you have other support so we can offer the grant to another applicant.
• You will only receive the grant contribution following course completion and submission of the required forms (reimbursement form, W8/W9 and all receipts).
• The travel grant contribution can only be used towards:
  • Return economy travel to Taipei
  • Three nights accommodation in Taipei
  • Visa (if required)

Data collected by the organizers will only be used to manage your registration for the course and congress, and to provide you and other participants with relevant information about your attendance. Data will be shared with the Asian Pacific Congress of Nephrology organizers for registration and planning purposes, but will never be shared with other third parties without your expressed and recorded consent.

Information collected during the registration process will be used to process your registration, ensure you receive a congress badge, certificate of completion, and travel grant (if applicable). Without this information, we will be unable to properly process your registration. The recipients of the data are the course organizers and the Asian Pacific Congress of Nephrology organizers. Data will be stored and used in a secure environment.

In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from the course organizers, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data. For such request, please contact GNcourse@theisn.org (be aware that a proof of identity will be requested during the process).

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) will take photos during the course. These images will be used by the ISN to share news about the course and promote future courses. Images may be used on the ISN website, in ISN news, printed publicity and published on the ISN’s social media and e-mails. They will be stored securely on the ISN’s servers. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please email GNcourse@theisn.org at any time

As the ISN’s Primer Course in Glomerular Diseases is an official pre-congress course at the Asian Pacific Congress of Nephrology, all course attendees are also subject to the congress terms and conditions.

To deliver high-quality experience, course organizers will provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can share information and ideas in a professional, positive, and friendly way.

Course organizers will not accept any intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions. This includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, and stalking.

All attendees, including speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners, and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:

• Be considerate, respectful, collaborative, and inclusive,
• Participate in an authentic and active manner,
• Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, prejudicial, or harassing behavior and speech,
• Do not use inappropriate language and images,
• Do not engage in harm or threats of any kind,
• Do not inappropriately disrupt presentations and talks,
• Do not make audio or visual recordings of slides, Q&A, discussions without presenter/author’s permission.

Attendees can report inappropriate behavior to the course organizers at GNcourse@theisn.org In case of inappropriate behavior, course organizers reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary without warning, including non-distribution of travel grant (if applicable), and they reserve the right to refuse attendance at future ISN meetings, virtually or in person.

The ISN retains copyright of the course design and all contents within the ISN’s Primer Course in Glomerular Diseases. This course may not be shared or duplicated.
