The ISN’s Expert Forum on Complement Therapeutics in C3G & IgAN is a 2-day in-person scientific and educational meeting for experts on developments and advances in the understanding and management of complement therapeutics in C3G and IgAN. There will be a focus on interactivity, with the aim of providing a forum for an in-depth exchange of knowledge and discussion. This invitation-only meeting will bring together around 100 attendees (including speakers).

By registering for this forum, delegates understand that the Expert Forum on Complement Therapeutics in C3G & IgAN, and all content therein, is designed exclusively for qualified medical professionals and that in line with current healthcare industry regulations, s/he confirms to be qualified to access the forum contents.
This is a 2 day forum which requires physical presence in Budapest, Hungary from May 2-4, 2025. This forum can only be attended in person, no virtual option is available.

Any cancellation or change to your registration must be done in writing to ISNevents@theisn.org.
If you cancel your registration for any reason including failure to obtain a visa, you are responsible for any costs incurred (e.g. travel and visa). The responsibility for procuring health/accident and travel insurance remains with you
If you cancel your registration, you will no longer be eligible to claim the travel contribution.

Forum organizers reserve the right to modify the forum program and forum elements at any time. Details published on the forum website are subject to change or subject to substitution. Delegates are encouraged check the forum website for updates on a regular basis. No right to further claims will be possible should the organizers be obliged to alter the program.
In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the forum organizers shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the forum. Registered delegates shall not be entitled to seek compensation for any costs or damages incurred because of such cancellation or change. The organizers will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and/or persons caused on site during the forum, by any factor whatsoever, unless there has been a fault, intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of the organizers.
Although ISN takes all precautions to be certain that the countries and venues in which educational activities are held are safe, please note that when you agree to travel and join the forum, you acknowledge and accept that ISN cannot be held liable for any untoward consequences related to traveling or staying abroad, including those related to COVID-19. The responsibility for procuring health/accident and travel insurance remains with you. You or your relatives cannot hold ISN responsible in the event of untoward events or experiences.
The official language of the forum is English. Presentations will only be delivered in English.
Following the forum, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
- You are unable to claim a travel contribution for the forum if you do not attend.
- You will only receive the contribution following forum completion and submission of the required forms (reimbursement form, W8/W9 and all receipts).

Data collected by the organizers both directly and via the official registration vendor will only be used to manage your registration for the forum and to provide you and other delegates with relevant information about your attendance. Certain data will be shared with the forum hotel to book your accommodation, but will never be shared with other third parties without your expressed and recorded consent.
Information collected during the registration process will be used to process your registration, book your hotel room, as well as ensure you receive a forum badge, certificate of attendance, and travel contribution. Without this information, we will be unable to properly process your registration. The recipients of the data are the forum organizers, the official registration vendor, and the delegate hotel. Data will be stored and used in a secure environment.
In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from the forum organizers, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data. For such request, please contact ISNevents@theisn.org (be aware that a proof of identity will be requested during the process).
The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) will take photos during the forum. These images will be used by the ISN to share news about the forum and promote future forums. Images may be used on the ISN website, in ISN news, printed publicity and published on the ISN’s social media and e-mails. They will be stored securely on the ISN servers. To deliver high-quality experience, forum organizers will provide a safe and welcoming environment where delegates can share information and ideas in a professional, positive, and friendly way.
Forum organizers will not accept any intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions. This includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, and stalking.
All delegates, including speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners, and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Be considerate, respectful, collaborative, and inclusive,
- Participate in an authentic and active manner,
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, prejudicial, or harassing behavior and speech,
- Do not use inappropriate language and images,
- Do not engage in harm or threats of any kind,
- Do not inappropriately disrupt presentations and talks,
- Do not make audio or visual recordings of slides, Q&A, discussions without presenter/author’s permission.
Delegates can report inappropriate behavior to the forum organizers at ISNevents@theisn.org In case of inappropriate behavior, forum organizers reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary without warning, including non-distribution of travel contribution, and they reserve the right to refuse attendance at future ISN meetings, virtually or in person.
