The ISN welcomes expressions of interest and nominations for the leadership position of
ISN Dialysis Working Group Deputy Chair
Open to all ISN members in good standing
Deadline to apply is 30 September 2022
The ISN welcomes expressions of interest and nominations for the position of ISN Dialysis Working Group Deputy Chair, succeeding Irma Tchokhonelidze who will become Chair of the Dialysis Working Group in replacement of Abdou Niang from the ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2023 (WCN’23).
The purpose of the Dialysis Working Group is to provide guidance, as needed, on ISN dialysis-related work.
This is a volunteer leadership position for a period of 2 years, and the Deputy Chair is then expected to succeed the Chair at the end of their 2-year term. There is no honorarium attached to this role. ISN staff provide operational support to the group, and the Chair and Deputy Chair are supported by a working group with regional representation which contributes to review and approval of submitted proposals.
The main work of the Dialysis Working Group is to advise, guide and review, as needed, ongoing projects and activities in the field of dialysis as well as disseminating their outputs. There may be projects that the Dialysis Working Group does on its own. The Dialysis Working Group ordinarily has a face-to-face meeting at the WCN and/or other events as applicable.
This call for expressions of interest and nominations is open to all ISN members in good standing.
