How did the ISN support enable you to advance kidney health in your home country?
ISN motivated and supported me to be the first interventional nephrologist in the country. I am able to represent views of nephrologists and encourage evidenced-based practice related to dialysis access creation and care. For this, we have been totally dependent on vascular and general surgeons.
What does the future look like?
I am just at the beginning of my carrier as IN. The road looks bumpy but with support from all the nephrology colleagues and seniors in home country, I will soon be able to see interventional nephrology prosper with active participation of young nephrologists.
