SharE-RR Named Fellow
Dr. Rajitha A. Abeysekera works both as a clinician and an academic in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Peradeniya in Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He also provides service as a consultant nephrologist at the University Teaching Hospital in Peradeniya, where comprehensive nephrology services including general nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplant, interventional nephrology, adolescent transition care, and kidney supportive care are provided. He has been given the title of SharE-RR Named Fellow for the significant role he played in the development of the SharE-RR Toolkit, contributing through the writing of the first drafts of chapters and supporting the toolkit’s overall creation. These are recognized as an integral part of the team’s success.
