Bridging the Gaps in Obstetric Kidney Care: Listen to the Podcast on the ISN “Train-the-Trainer” Program
The latest episode of the ISN Global Kidney Care Podcast spotlights the “Train-the-Trainer” program for pregnancy and kidney disease, a pioneering initiative designed to address critical gaps in obstetric kidney care education worldwide.
Shilpanjali Jesudason (Australia) and Rasha Shemies (Egypt) discuss how the program brought together a diverse group of experts and trainees from ten countries to develop a robust curriculum.
The program is designed to equip nephrologists with up-to-date resources on obstetric kidney care, enabling them to teach and expand knowledge in their local regions.
The accompanying educational resources, including modules on pregnancy and kidney transplantation, fertility, preeclampsia, and postpartum care, will soon be available at the ISN Academy.
