ISN Petition: Support the Momentum for Global Kidney Health!
In September, the ISN launched an online petition urging everyone to join the movement to elevate kidney disease as a critical health priority.
The Guatemalan government also has contributed to raising kidney health awareness globally by submitting a kidney health resolution to the World Health Organization. This resolution calls for urgent global action to address gaps in kidney disease prevention, early detection, treatment, and quality of life.
The ISN petition and the resolution submitted by the Guatemalan government both amplify the call for global leaders to take action on kidney health. That’s why we have extended the December deadline for signing the petition until May 2025 to coincide with the World Health Assembly, when we hope the resolution will be voted on. The petition is vital to keeping kidney disease in the spotlight and increasing the chances of the vote going through.
We are calling on everyone! Whether you work in kidney care, have been personally affected by kidney disease, or simply believe in a healthier future for all, this is your chance to take a stand – sign the petition.
By signing the petition, you are adding your voice to a powerful movement for a global shift in how kidney health is prioritized. Together, we can save millions of lives!
Let’s make kidney health a global priority today. Thank you for your support!
