Since 2021, 106 ISN Mentees have benefitted from the expertise of an ISN Mentor, primarily in assisting with research projects but also in areas as varied as clinical nephrology, glomerular disease, career development, and interpersonal skills.

Find out more about the ISN Mentorship Program and apply as a mentee here by July 1.

Candidates are invited to choose one area of interest when applying.

Dr. Ningning Wang (China) joined the ISN Mentorship program as a mentee in 2019.

She received expert guidance from ISN Mentor Professor Marcello Tonelli (Canada) on her research project looking into a potential new treatment for calciphylaxis.

Dr. Wang commented: “Professor Cello has motivated me to pursue my research interests and expanded my vision with his invaluable insights.” She advises potential mentees to “Stay curious, engage in critical thinking, embrace new technologies, and be persistent with your research goals.”
