Here’s a snapshot of what we experienced together over four extraordinary days of learning, networking, and innovation:
- 1576 groundbreaking abstracts were accepted, with 867 posters on display
- 252 top-tier speakers from around the globe presented a diverse scientific program
- Simultaneous translation in 30 languages ensured accessibility and inclusivity
- 26 innovative exhibitors showcased the latest advancements in kidney care

The film “Local Strengths for Local Weaknesses: A Lifeline to Wellassa” was voted best film in the 2024 ISN Film Community Event by Udana Ratnapala (Sri Lanka).
WCN’24 expanded our knowledge and strengthened the international kidney care community, setting the stage to propel nephrology to new heights.
The ISN is eager to channel the energy from this event to keep advancing equitable access to kidney care, building on the understanding, skills and camaraderie gained at this year’s congress.
