The ISN Presents Its South Asia Pioneer Award to Mohan Rajapurkar at the Annual Indian Society of Nephrology Conference
The 53rd Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISNCON 2023) will take place from December 14-17, 2023, in Kolkata, India, supported by the ISN Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program.
The conference provides a fitting occasion to present the ISN 2023 Pioneer Award for the ISN South Asia region to Mohan M. Rajapurkar from India.
ISN President Masaomi Nangaku will highlight ISN activities and regional opportunities and introduce the Pioneer Award in a pre-recorded talk during the inauguration ceremony on December 14 at 7 p.m. India Standard Time (convert to your time zone here).
Sishir Gang, chairman of the Department of Nephrology and senior consultant nephrologist at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital in Nadiad, Bangalore, will highlight Dr.Rajapurkar’s extensive achievements, which include establishing the first clinical nephrology, maintenance hemodialysis, and live donor kidney transplantation and interventional nephrology programs in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Professor Nangaku will also deliver the following talks during the meeting:
- December 15 from 4:45-5:25 p.m., ‘Anemic in CKD’
- December 16 from 8:30-9:10 a.m., ‘Innovation in Nephrology’
