Become an ISN Interventional Nephrology Training Center! Apply by September 1
The ISN recognized 12 Interventional Nephrology Training Centers (INTCs) worldwide in 2020 and is now seeking additional institutions to offer in-depth training in interventional nephrology. Applications are open to centers from all countries.
See all eligibility criteria and guidelines on how to apply here. The deadline is September 1.
ISN INTCs were launched in response to the increasing demand for interventional nephrology training in low-resource settings and the importance of vascular access care for patients.
The centers offer up to three months of training in interventional procedures, including CVC placement, kidney biopsy, PD catheter insertion, endovascular procedures, and POCUS to early-career nephrologists from low, lower-middle and upper-middle-income countries through the ISN Interventional Nephrology Scholarship Program, which contributes to travel, accommodation, and living costs.
To date, 18 scholars have completed their training at an INTC and returned home to start or improve interventional nephrology programs at their healthcare centers.
