A Systematic Review of Direct-Acting Antivirals for Hepatitis C in Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease
This study reviews DAA regimens in patients with CKD stages G4 and G5 not on dialysis, CKD stage G5 on dialysis, and kidney transplant recipients to facilitate the update of the KDIGO guideline for CKD patients with hepatitis C virus.
The author’s findings demonstrate that combination DAA regimens are safe and effective in patients with advanced CKD on dialysis and with kidney transplants.
