Connect With Like-minded Colleagues and Engage in ISN Initiatives: Join the ISN Young Nephrologists Network
YNC and Emerging Leaders Program members networking at the ISN booth at ASN kidney week last November
The ISN has over 4200 members under the age of 45! Every year the ISN Young Nephrologists Committee (YNC) receives an overwhelming number of applications from young nephrologists worldwide who want to grow professionally and contribute to global kidney care alongside the ISN.
The YNC
The YNC comprises 24 members, including the chair and deputy chair. It aims to meet the needs of younger kidney health professionals within the organization by engaging with various ISN committees and initiatives to develop tailored opportunities for them.
In this context, the YNC regularly receives updates highlighting activities or projects that may be of special interest to young nephrologists.
The ISN Young Nephrologists Network
The YNC believes that it’s crucial to channel the energy and motivation of younger ISN members and extend every available opportunity to them. In this spirit, we have created a new initiative called the ISN Young Nephrologists Network (ISN YNN), an online platform for those seeking to engage in ISN initiatives and connect with like-minded peers.
How can you join the YNN?
Fill out this brief questionnaire to tell us about yourself, your interests, and your goals in joining this platform.
Any ISN member under 45 years of age, at any point in their career (such as trainee, nephrologist, nephrology nurse, or histologist), is eligible to join.
Once we’ve received your form, we’ll add you to a database and send you targeted information on ISN projects and initiatives within your specified areas of interest.
What can you expect from the ISN YNN?
We’ll send you details of ISN activities, opportunities to join other ISN committees or working groups (including the YNC once a position becomes available), news on YNC activities at the World Congress of Nephrology, and lots more! You can participate as much or as little as you like.
You can find information about all ISN initiatives relevant to young kidney care professionals on the ISN Young page of the ISN website.
We are currently looking for young nephrologists to assist with an ongoing project to create multilingual patient education leaflets.
We look forward to hearing your ideas on how we can work together to advance kidney care worldwide. Come and join us!
Please contact us at ynn@Theisn.org if you have any questions.
