Join the ISN for Symposium on Precision Medicine and Prevention of Chronic Disease at the World NCD Congress 2022
The World NCD Congress 2022 is a free virtual event from June 9-11, 2022, Eastern Standard Time. The event is hosted by the University of Michigan Medical School and the World NCD Federation.
The theme of this second edition of the congress is ‘Prioritizing Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases: Taking Data and Knowledge to Action.’
The symposium, “Precision Medicine and Prevention of Chronic Disease,” from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, will be moderated by ISN i3C (International Consortium CKDu Collaborators) Working Group Chair, Shuchi Anand, ISN Education Working Group Chair Roberto Pecoits-Filho, and David Wegman from the University of Massachusetts. During this session, Shuchi Anand will deliver the talk: ‘CKDu Around the World – What We Have Learned so Far?’
Seeking to address the root causes of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), the meeting will assemble international stakeholders from multiple sectors to examine the critical and growing impact of NCDs on the well-being of millions. Topics include learning health systems, health equity, the effects of climate and environment on health, and early prevention strategies.
