The ISN is currently welcoming applications for ISN Fellowships. Interested candidates are encouraged to find and contact a host institution as early as possible to develop a personalized training plan.
Apply for an ISN Fellowship grant here.
The ISN Fellowship Program provides funding to young nephrologists from low and middle-income countries to receive practical training in host institutions abroad.
Dana GAUDARD, from Hôpital Universitaire de Mirebalais, Mirebalais, in Haiti, spent a year training at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Grenoble, Grenoble, France, as an ISN Fellow. Commenting on the experience, Dana Gaudard says, “This training increased my passion for nephrology. Now I am a young, dynamic nephrologist with big dreams for my country.
Since returning to Haiti, I have been working alongside a team to implement a nephrology unit at the University Hospital of Mirebalais to provide care to hospitalized patients in all departments with renal pathologies.”
To complement the hands-on training, the ISN has developed an online curriculum on the ISN Academy: A pre-application foundation course required for those wishing to undertake a 12-month clinical fellowship and several online modules for all successful ISN Fellows.
