Astellas Anaemia of CKD Educational Series Available Now
Astellas has produced three videos on anaemia of CKD. As part of its commitment to building capacity in healthcare professionals, the ISN is currently hosting the open-access content on the
ISN Academy:
- ‘Expert insight: Anaemia of CKD’ – Sunil Bhandari, a consultant in general medicine and nephrology, presents insights on the burden of anaemia of CKD and the challenges of its management.
- ‘Anaemia of CKD’ – an animation addressing the multiple causes of anaemia of CKD and the mechanism of disease in light of the Nobel Prize-winning research into how the body adapts to low oxygen levels.
- ‘Exposing the risks of anaemia of CKD’ – an animation on the clinical risks of untreated anaemia of CKD, including cardiovascular and mortality risks, and the symptomatic burden and impact of the condition on patients’ quality of life.
