Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize to be Awarded Annually
The Lilian Jean Kaplan International Prize for Advancement in the Understanding of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) will now be awarded annually. ISN is grateful to Thomas Kaplan and the Recanati-Kaplan Foundation for their generosity in making this possible.
The Lillian Jean Kaplan Prize recognizes individuals exhibiting excellence and leadership in PKD clinical or basic research that improves knowledge and treatment of PKD. It is a prestigious award in this field.
This year’s award will be presented in a one-hour session taking place on Sunday, March 29 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Capital Suite 7 of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Andy Betts, CEO of the PKD Foundation, and Dr. Nathan Levin, Chair of the Lillian Jean Kaplan Prize Advisory Committee, will introduce and present this year’s award. The winner will deliver a scientific lecture.
