ISN Pioneer Award for Middle East goes to Behrooz Broumand
Behrooz Broumand was recently given the ISN Pioneer Award for the Middle East region. ISN President Adeera Levin and Chair of the ISN Regional Board for the Middle East Mona Alrukhaimi presented him with the prize.
ISN Pioneer Awards honor the ‘unsung heroes’ of nephrology. They reward doctors who have carried out extraordinary efforts to advance nephrology in a specific country or region. A strong supporter of ISN, Prof. Broumand was also president of the Iran Society of Nephrology.
