The use of hormone replacement therapy is controversial in the healthy population. Whether hormone replacement therapy has a role in women with chronic kidney disease in currently unknown. Since many nephrologists are the primary healthcare providers for their patients, the purpose of this survey is to determine the practices and attitudes of nephrologists on the importance of the sex hormone profile and hormone replacement therapy use in women with CKD.
