Trainees can apply for free ISN membership
ISN is now offering free membership to trainees. A decision set to give even more opportunities for this new generation of nephrologists to grow.
ISN knows the value of the younger generations of nephrologists who are part of the Society. As of now, trainees in nephrology, aged 37 and younger, can apply online for free ISN In-Training Membership.
Since it was set up, the ISN Young Nephrologists Committee (YNC) has got more young nephrologists involved in the Society by offering them training and leadership opportunities. It has set out to empower younger generations particularly from developing countries with programs geared at education, mentoring, and support.
For many the ISN Fellowship Program has also opened doors for valuable career experience. For instance, Rolando Claure-Del Granado started as an ISN Fellow in Mexico City and evolved further by applying for a fellowship focusing on acute kidney injury. He continues to apply for the different ISN Programs and has been involved in setting up a level C Sister Renal Center partnership between his institution in Bolivia and the University of California San Diego, USA.
