YNC is a growing community
As Chair of the ISN Young Nephrologists Committee (YNC), I’m pleased to announce that our online community has grown to over 2000 members.
In particular, we are very pleased to announce our newly appointed ISN YNC member Issa Al Salmi to help us bridge and build partnerships in the Middle-East region. We hope to promote and understand the needs of young physicians and scientists in an effort to develop educational, research, professional development, and leadership opportunities within the Middle-East region.
To hear more about the ISN YNC and how you as a young nephrologist from the Middle-East can be more involved, The Young Nephrologist Committee will be featured at the ISN Regional Workshop as part of the 12th Congress of The Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation in Dubai in December 2014, where we will be promoting and discussing opportunities for engaging young nephrologists from the region within the ISN.
The meeting planned has a very exciting program and agenda and we look forward to welcoming all young nephrologists in attendance. We also hope to help develop and expand The YNC peer mentorship program by including a broad representation of mentors and mentees including those from within the Middle-East region.
This is a very exciting time for the ISN and the Young Nephrologist Committee and we very much look forward to continued growth with the Middle-East region.
