Following success in 2013, when the training was provided to nephrologists and pathologists from India, this year 130 individuals have been selected from all around the world, giving priority to those from low- and middle-income countries. The 2015 program will be announced in the last quarter of 2014.
The ISN-ANIO India Committee builds on the expertise of ISN to bridge gaps in healthcare provision for kidney disease across India. The Committee represents a partnership between ISN, American Nephrologists of Indian Origin (ANIO), other nephrologists of the Indian diaspora, and nephrologists in India. It develops innovative, transformative projects with the aim of sustainable capacity building to improve kidney health care in India while raising the funds to support these projects.
