ISN Forefronts Florence – success all round!
This must have been the fourth time that I attended the ISN Forefronts Meeting. Once again, this focused meeting on Stem Cells and Kidney Regeneration thrilled its participants with cutting edge science.
Around 180 researchers in the field gathered in Florence to discuss a subject dear to their hearts. World-leading experts in their respective niche present their best as well as unpublished and to-be-published data in an unreserved manner, allowing fruitful academic interaction.
The attendance of the 2-and-a-half-day meeting is a vivid reflection of its scientific quality, in that the auditorium is always packed full with the same audience, right from the beginning through to the end. The coffee breaks are just as lively as the talks; they allow continuation of discussion as well as opportunities to meet and make friends. Many thanks to the symposium co-chairs, Paola Romagnani and Ben Humphreys for a job well done!
