New ISN Treasurer announced
ISN is happy to announce the appointment of its new Treasurer. Tom Coffman has now accepted the role and will take over from current ISN Treasurer Vic Schuster.
Many of you will already know Tom, who is Chief of the Division of Nephrology at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, USA. It is a great pleasure to welcome Tom into ISN leadership. Tom and Vic are working with Luca Segantini to effect a prompt and efficient transition, and Tom will be fully in charge by the time the World Congress of Nephrology takes place in Hong Kong.
ISN President John Feehally says: “I want to take this opportunity to record our thanks to Vic Schuster. Vic has been a superb ISN Treasurer. He has directed ISN’s financial strategy with great skill, ensuring stability in the face of many internal and external changes. But more than that he has been a continuing source of wise advice on the Executive Committee, and unstinting in his commitment to so many aspects of ISN’s mission. We are very grateful for all he has given us.”
