The ISN proudly presents awards and prizes to honor exceptional contributions to kidney care at the World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) and regional events throughout the year.
2026 ISN Awards – Honoring outstanding achievements
In 2026, the ISN will recognize individuals making remarkable contributions to kidney care with the following prestigious awards:
- The Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize for excellence and leadership in clinical or basic research in polycystic kidney disease (PKD)
Deadline to nominate: May 16, 2025 - The Bywaters Award for exceptional contributions to understanding acute kidney injury
Deadline to nominate: June 13, 2025 - The Jean Hamburger Award for outstanding research in nephrology with a clinical emphasis
