5th International Congress of Chinese Nephrologists cum Hong Kong Society of Nephrology Annual Scientific Meeting 2024

December 13-15, 2024                Hong Kong

The ISN celebrates its partnership with the International Association of Chinese Nephrologists (IACN) and the Hong Kong Society of Nephrology (HKSN) with the IACN-ISN-HKSN Scholarships, which support young nephrologists who want to train in clinical nephrology for three months in China, including Hong Kong.

ISN-TSN Joint Symposium, Saturday, December 14, from 1:30-3:35 p.m. (Taipei Standard Time)

Mai-Szu Wu, Chih-Wei Yang (both Taiwan), and Robert Walker (NZ) will chair the session and lead the panel discussions, with opening and closing remarks from Dr. Wu and Dr. Yang.

  • Neesh Pannu (Canada): “Considerations on Study Design and Protocol Development for Clinical Research in Nephrology”
  • Giovanni Strippoli (Italy): “Strengths and Pitfalls of Meta-analysis and Systematic Review in Nephrology Research”
  • Reiko Inagi (Japan): “Basic Research in Nephrology: Challenges and Opportunities”
  • Yi-Chun Tsai (Taiwan): “Multi-omics Application in Nephrology”
  • Yu-Hsiang Chou (Taiwan): “Epigenetics in Precision Medicine for Kidney Disease”

Before the annual meeting, from December 11-13, the ISN will host a Scientific Writing Course (SWC) and will be present throughout the congress with a booth.
