New Partnership to Strengthen Pediatric Nephrology in Latin America and the Caribbean
The ISN is pleased to announce the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Asociación Latinoamericana de Nefrología Pediátrica (ALANEPE).
Established in 1981, ALANEPE represents pediatric nephrology specialists in the region and is affiliated with the International Pediatric Nephrology Association.
By joining forces, the ISN and ALANEPE aim to foster collaboration to address shared challenges toward improving outcomes in pediatric nephrology throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Key partnership initiatives will include joint Educational Ambassadors offering hands-on training in nephrology for low and middle-income countries in Latin America, as well as collaborative Continuing Medical Education opportunities. These joint programs will provide critical training and knowledge to support local efforts in bridging gaps in clinical care and research.
The ISN and ALANEPE are committed to improving pediatric nephrology and ensuring equitable access to sustainable kidney health in Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond.
