In 2024, the ISN welcomed new Affiliated and Collective-member societies, extending opportunities for collaboration and innovation in kidney care.

So far, this year’s additions to the ISN Affiliated Society network include the Paediatric Nephrology Society of Bangladesh, the Oman Society of Nephrology and Transplantation, the Mali Nephrology Society, and the Croatian Renal Association,

New Collective-member societies so far include the Société Francophone de Néphrologie, Dialyse et Transplantation (SFNDT), the Cambodian Association of Nephrology (CAN), the Bolivian Society of Nephrology and Hypertension (SBNH), the Ecuadorian Society of Nephrology (SEN), and the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Nefrologia e Hipertension (SLANH).

Additionally, the ISN established a new agreement with the Société Francophone de Néphrologie, Dialyse et Transplantation (SFNDT), and the Asociación Latinoamericana de Nefrología Pediátrica (ALANEPE) and renewed partnerships with the Latin American Society of Nephrology and Hypertension (SLANH), the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), and The Transplantation Society (TTS).

The new partnership with the ALANEPE has been established to address shared challenges toward improving outcomes in pediatric nephrology throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The ISN also joined forces with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) to collaborate on the innovative Advancing Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care (GREEN-K).
