Call for expressions of interest/nominations for
ISN Renal Disaster Preparedness Working Group Members
The ISN welcomes expressions of interest/nominations for the positions of members of the ISN Renal Disaster Preparedness Working Group (RDPWG). The positions will start at the World Congress of Nephrology 2025 (WCN’25).
About the ISN Renal Disaster Preparedness Working Group (RDPWG)
The purpose of the RDPWG is to formulate preparedness plans for situations where there is disruption in the delivery of kidney-related services in a region and to guide ISN in its advisory role in such situations.
The RDPWG aims to:
- Formulate a disaster preparedness guidance plan to respond to and manage such situations
- Develop a strategy for disseminating and implementing such a disaster preparedness guidance plan
- Assess and then advise ISN on its role during the occurrence of such situations
The Role
- Be available to assist local organizations during disasters, attend conferences, and provide resources and guidance
- Participate in RDPWG activities, including webinars and joint initiatives with other societies
- Foster collaborations with regional and national nephrology organizations
- Promote ISN membership benefits and opportunities within the nephrology community
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated interest in ISN activities and the capacity to contribute to the RDPWG mission and objectives
- ISN member in good standing
- Email accessible and able to regularly connect to conference calls
