Apply Now to Become an ISN Regional Training Center

Advance Kidney Care in your Region:
Apply for Recognition as an ISN Regional Training Center

The ISN is proud to recognize as ISN Regional Training Centers (RTCs) a growing network of sites in low and middle-income countries worldwide, which provide high-quality training to advance kidney care in their region. As ambassadors for the ISN mission and hubs for ISN programs, Regional Training Centers are key partners in the ISN’s commitment to build capacity by supporting locally relevant training opportunities.

The ISN is now accepting applications for new ISN Regional Training Centers in Africa.

Apply by October 1, 2024

ISN Regional Training Centers demonstrate a passion and capacity for training doctors and health professionals in kidney care from surrounding low-resource areas, a high standard of training capabilities in nephrology, and continued involvement in ISN capacity-building activities. They receive increased visibility on the ISN website and on other communication channels, and get priority consideration for ISN Grants, including ISN Fellowship, Sister Renal Centers, Educational Ambassadors, and more.

The ISN invites applications from centers:

  • located in a low, lower-middle, or upper-middle income country (according to World Bank classification) in Africa,
  • whose senior staff members are ISN members,
  • with proven capabilities to provide quality training in nephrology within their region,
  • and with a track record and ongoing commitment to taking part in ISN Granting Programs.

Download the guidelines for applying centers here, and apply by October 1.
