“Stronger in My Clinical Research Career” Through the ISN Mentorship Program – Apply as a Mentee by July 1
Dr. Anh Nguyen (Vietnam) was awarded 1st place in the ISN Mentorship Abstract Award for her submission, “Association of I/D Polymorphism of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Gene in Lupus Nephritis.”

Dr. Anh Nguyen is a nephrologist at Cho Ray Hospital and a senior lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
After completing an ISN Fellowship, Anh Nguyen stayed in touch with her supervisor, Associate Professor Vincent Lee (Australia), who continued to mentor her through the ISN Mentorship Program.

The main objectives of the collaboration were to formulate and complete two research projects for presentation at scientific meetings, participate in data analysis, write protocols for institutional review, publish research on AKI in international journals, and effectively respond to reviewer comments.
Dr. Nguyen stated, “ISN activities motivate me to be stronger and more mature in my clinical research career pathways.”
The ISN Mentorship Abstract Award recognizes the top three WCN’24 abstracts submitted by recent ISN mentees who have collaborated with mentors through the ISN Mentorship Program.
