Paula Marioli (ISN-ACT)
Looking towards the future of nephrology, I envision a transformative era, driven by the integration of technology with renal research and clinical practice. In the development of centers like Renálida, which combine comprehensive medical care and access to clinical research, technology catalyzes a virtuous cycle of innovation and continuous improvement and facilitates the construction of efficient renal ecosystems centered on our patients.
Our experience at Renálida, enriched by the Renal Sisters program (SRC-ISN) and the support of the ACT-ISN tools subcommittee, illustrates how strategic collaborations significantly contribute to advancing renal care and research. As a member of the ISN-ACT committee, I am committed to promoting the development of emerging centers, sharing learnings and experiences, and inspiring models that allow for a more just and sustainable renal health.
This collaborative approach, along with the innovative use of technology, not only empowers emerging centers like ours but also contributes to establishing a replicable and sustainable model for the future of nephrology. It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to sharing these perspectives at WCN’24 and contributing to the global dialogue on renal health.
