New Global Initiative on Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care
The GREEN-K Steering Committee is pleased to announce the Global Environmental Evolution in Nephrology and Kidney Care – GREEN-K initiative.
This is an international, joint activity of leading national and regional kidney societies on environmentally sustainable kidney care through advocating for and educating in green nephrology to reduce the specialty’s carbon footprint.

This global, inclusive initiative has a vision of “Sustainable kidney care for a healthy planet and kidneys,” with the mission to “Promote and support environmentally sustainable and resilient kidney care globally through advocacy, education, and collaboration.”
ISN Affiliated Societies’ leads will shortly receive an email inviting them to become formally affiliated with the GREEN-K initiative.
