ISN at JSN Annual Meeting in Japan
The 65th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN) will take place in hybrid format, June 10-12, 2022, in Kobe, Japan.
ISN President Agnes Fogo and JSN President Naoki Kashihara will chair a joint ISN-JSN session on Sunday, June 12, from 9-11 a.m. Japan Standard Time, which will include talks from:
· Agnes Fogo (USA): ‘Progression of CKD – the Vicious Cycle Includes the Tubulointerstitium’
· Hiddo L Heerspink (Netherlands): ‘New Therapies for the Treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease Beyond RAS and SGLT2 Inhibition’
· ISN President-Elect Masaomi Nangaku (Japan): ‘Importance of Diversity In Science and Nephrology’
· Megumi Oshima (Japan): ‘Towards a More Favorable Prognosis for Diabetic Kidney Disease’
JSN’s annual meeting is primarily held for its members to acquire the latest knowledge on treatment and research in kidney care and will include discussions of molecular biology, genetic engineering, and data science on the future of nephrology.
